Different strokes for different folks…right?

Yes, you read that right.

Yes, Zach returns to his hometown for his first live show since he had big hair in high school and he joins a few fine friends at this legendary windy city venue. Should be a wonderful evening of folk, blues, soul and a whole lot of love.

Artists coming from California, Michigan and Illinoize for this one so if you are in town or know folks who are – join us on July 5. USA!

On the bill:

Gavin Wilkinson
A solo set from the heart and soul of local Chicago roots-rollers
The Bears Of Blue River!

Lovely Ann Arbor-based songstress
Hannah Winkler (MI)

Zach Lupetin & The Dustbowl Revival (CA)
With special guests Jeff Lupetin (his dad) on blues harp and Lila Lupetin (his sis) on harmony vocals + friends and dustbowlers!

Theo Katzman & (((Love Massive))) MI
Rolling down from the great lakes state, cosmic folk-soul multi-instrumentalist Theo Katzman and his crew will surely bring the house down and have been packing shows from Ann Arbor to NYC. Zach and Theo had some wild times in college together –who knows what might happen at Schubas!

Alan Lomax and his father John were the most comprehensive and respectful historians of blues and American roots music in the 20th century. A friend passed on a beautiful and rare documentary that shows some of Alan’s field work. Pretty amazing to watch.

The boss + full out bluegrass-Dixieland army? Dublin had a special night indeed.

Live from inside a grain silo. Gorgeous.

As a proud customer of the mega-Whole Foods on Rose and Lincoln Blvd in Venice – I can vouch for this dude. Everything he says is true. And it’s hilarious.

Nice job, Fog and Smog!

Daptone’s Charles Bradley might set the screen en fuego first. Nasty good.

…sweet, sweet babyflesh!
